Ross River Homestead - established as a cattle station by the Bloomfield family circa 1912; the original homestead site was later abandoned and then re-occupied by brothers Gil and Doug Green who came to the area to cut red gum railway sleepers circa 1948. The Greens later established a tourist facility around the old homestead. - see description PH0104/0178,
