History

The Company was responsible for the maintenance of bores and pumping stations in the Darwin, Adelaide River and Fenton areas. Sapper Leslie Penrose NX163991 was taken by a crocodile on 10 November 1943. The company also constructed 3 Loran Radar Units on Bathurst Island, Grahame Moore and Champagney Islands.,
