Lt. Robert Oestreicher was the sole remaining member of this Squadron on the 19 February 1942. He joined with Major Pell's 33 Provisional Pursuit Squadron to fly to Java. Oestriecher was the only United States pilot not to be shot down on the 19 February 1942.,
