Abstract
Two new U-Pb SHRIMP zircon geochronological results, derived from two samples of meta-igneous and metasedimentary rocks from the Aileron and Irindina provinces in Jinka and Dneiper (HUCKITTA) in the Northern Territory, are presented herein. One sample of Canefire granite (HU18BLR1965) was collected from Dneiper Station, 4 km east-southeast of Canefire Dam in Dneiper. One sample of migmatitic gneiss (HU15BLR1222) was collected in the Irindina Province at Jinka Station, 3 km northeast of Ghost Gum Bore in Jinka. Detailed results are documented for each sample, comprising sample location and geological context, a description of the target mineral for geochronology, the relevant analytical data, and a brief geochronological interpretation.,
