Crashed Lockheed 10 'Electra' VH-UXI of Guinea Airways "MORESBY" just after take off from Fannie Bay aerodrome. All 12 survived. Loaded with AIF recruits bound for Adelaide. It crashed alongside the road and railway line adjacent to the Fannie Bay aerodrome - tail broke off.,
