Westland Wapiti (3) (A5-34, A5-35 and A5-23) of RAAF (Sqn. Ldr. Hepburn); DH60 VH-UNQ 'Golden Shell' (Capt. E. J. Jones) and Bristol Bulldog (2) (A12-1 and A12-6) of RAAF (Sqn. Ldr. Summers). RAAF aircraft were in Darwin to welcome Supermarine Southampton flying boats (3) of RAF 20 Sqn (S.1127 S.1128 and S.1162) from Singapore which arrived 3pm on 22 March and moored at Frances Bay, having accompanied Klemm KL-26 D-2160 (Elly Beinhorn) across the Timor Sea from Koepang (NEI). Elly's was first flight from Germany. RAAF aircraft (5) gave air display lasting nearly one hour on Easter Monday 28 March from 3.3pm.,
