DH60G Moth VH-UKM. First registered 6 April 1929 to L S J Smith. It was the second Australian registered aircraft (ie. VH- ). Aircraft purchased by E Galway and fuselage was fitted with a variable incidence wing. During first flight on 4 November 1931 near York WA, it dived into the ground and Galway was killed,
