Description

Wlademir (sometimes spelt Vladimir or Waldemar) Holtze, also know as Wallaby. Born in Russia in 1869 the second son of Maurice and Evlampia Holtze, he came to Darwin with them in 1873. He died in Darwin Hospital aged 94 after a career in the Overland Telegraph, spending many years at Powell Creek.,
