This report maps the presence of and depth of actual acid sulfate (sulfuric soil material) and potential acid sulfage soils from the mouth of the Finniss River to the coastal floodplains of the Adelaide River. The report confirms the presence of acid sulfate soils in the Darwin Region as well as providing quantitative data across a number of key landscapes. The report also confirms extremely high potential acidity in almost all intertidal soils with the exception of the hinterland landscapes, although these areas still recorded high values.,
