Description

A survey was undertaken on Auvergne station and a section of Spirit Hills Station for the purposes of assessing the similarity of these areas with those outlined in the M2 Development Area report (the Keep, Weaber and Knox Creek plains). The survey was primarily based on assessing the flora and vegetation communities (ie as a surrogate for 'habitat') of these two regions. Soil surface textures were also taken though time and money constraints precluded the digger of deep soil pits.,
