By Darwin standards, a public building twenty-five years of age must be considered a realtively old one, particularly since the rages of Cyclone Tracy. The resulting lack ofopportunities in celebrating the heritage of the local architecture, initially sparked my determinsation not to let the Twenty Fifth Anniversary of the Parap Pre-School pass by unnotices, and late in 1984 when I was fortunage enough to be able to spend several hours chatting with the very first teacher at Parap Pre-School.,
