'This report details the results of a geotechnical investigation carried out for the potential installation of ground anchors at the Stage 1 Sheet Pile Wharf at East Arm Port, Northern Territory. The installation of ground anchors, additional to the existing deadman anchors, to support the sheet pile wharf is under consideration. Site investigation was carried out to provide preliminary information on subsurface conditions for the assessment and design of the remedial support measures. Investigation comprised the drilling of boreholes with in situ testing, then laboratory testing of representative samples recovered from the bores. A grouting trial was also undertaken.
