Abstract
Gabriel Hazelbane, 9 Railway Street, Parap. Worked as fettler at Pine Creek. Then to Rum Jungle till VE (Victory in Europe) Day. Then returned to Darwin. My father was the late Harry Hazelbane. Worked in the Flying Gang from Darwin to Birdum. During the bombing my mother Martina Hazelbane, Harry Hazelbane, Quintin Hazelbane + Daniel Hazelbane were evacuated to Sydney to Adelaide then back to Darwin [after the war].,
Notes
The quilt was assembled between 1992 and 1994. It was first put on display at the Northern Territory Library in 1995.,
