The 'SS Neptuna' beside the wharf. The Neptuna was blown up during the first Japanese air raid in 1942. Its derelict remains were left beside the wharf until salvaged by the Japanese in 1960. The 'SS British Motorist' in the background was also bombed in the air raid.,
