This report details the results of a preliminary geotechnical assessment for a proposed new bulk solids ship loading facility at East Arm Port, Darwin, Northern Territory. The assessment comprised a review of available geological and geotechnical data followed by a site inspection, limited analysis and reporting. No intrusive investigation or testing was undertaken as part of the assessment. Details of the work are given in the report together with comments on design and construction practice. - Introduction,
