Each afternoon tourists are treated to the daily spectacle of the Daly Waters dump truck emptying the days rubbish from the pub. On any given day the old green Holden ute can be seen chugging along down the main street at walking pace filled with the days rubbish from the pub. The Ute's driver side door has been removed for quick access and its accelerator pedal is a piece of rope that the driver pulls to control the speed.,
