1934 London to Australia air race. Entrant no. 19. G-ACSR, C/N 1995 - green overall with white lettering. Flown by Flt. Lt. Owen Cathcarb-Jones and Ken Waller, the machine was sponsored by Bennard Rubin, and entered in speed and handicap section. Attained 4th place in speed section with time of 108hrs 13mins 45secs and claimed thirs prize of 500 pounds, as Parmentier & Moll in DC2 (44 Uiver) were officially second in speed, had claimed first prize in handicap.,
