Autralian officials meet the Indian Transcontinental Airways (ITA) AWIS aircraft VT-AEF 'Arethusa' shortly after arrival from Singapore, Darwin Aerodrome. ITA was an owned subsidiary of Imperial Airways, London. The aircraft was in Australia under charter to QEA whilst Qantas DH86 Dragon aircraft were grounded following a series of fatal crashes.
