Description
Cyclone 6th/7th January 1897. Damage on Bennett Street. The block of buildings on corner of Mitchell & Bennett Streets, comprising a bonded store, 2 stores, Cremer's photographic studio, 2 cottages and outbuildings, all the property of A.E.Jolly, were reduced to ruins. The only building still standing was a cottage occupied by Mr George.
