DH86 VH-USG of Qantas Empire Airways arrived at Darwin on 12 November 1934 on delivery flight flown by Imperial Airways crew in command of Capt. R. A. Prendergast, pictured signing autographs. On 15 November the aircraft inexplicably crashed near Longreach Qld killing all on board (4).,
