DH50J G-EBFO. Departed Rochester UK on 30 June, arrived Darwin 5 August. Floats replaced by wheels. Visited Sydney and Melbourne returning via Adelaide, Oodnadatta and Alice Springs. Pictured here after wheels were again replaced by floats and assisted by sailors from HMAS Geranium. Pilot Alan Cobham, Mechanic Alan Ward, Engine Specialist C. Capel joined the return flight at Melbourne Departed Darwin on 5 September and landed on Thames at Westminster on 1 October. First return flight England-Australia-England.,
